Elementary Program

The elementary school program at New Horizons School is designed to cultivate a love of learning through a well-rounded and engaging curriculum. Emphasizing phonics, our excellent teachers focus on developing strong language arts skills, ensuring that students build a solid foundation in reading and writing. The curriculum is designed to spark interest in various subjects, enhancing students' critical thinking through logical reasoning activities. Our use of Saxon Math with its cumulative and spiral review approach ensures that students grasp and retain mathematical concepts effectively. In our state-of-the-art science lab, students' curiosity is piqued as they explore scientific principles hands-on. Additionally, history and geography are taught in an engaging manner, making these subjects come alive for young learners. Computer classes introduce students to Logo programming, fostering early computational thinking skills. Physical Education (PE) classes are also integral to our program, promoting fitness and healthy habits from an early age.
